The son of a career Army officer, Michael J. Harrington graduated from Rider University in 1994 and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa School of Law in 1998.
Determined to make his mark as an accomplished trial attorney, Michael sought out employment that would give him both the experience and guidance needed to become a dedicated advocate and litigator.In 2000, Michael joined the Office of the Public Defender for Loudoun County.After seven years, Michael made the difficult decision to leave this office and enter into private practice with the firm, Hendrix/Harrington P.C.As a senior member with Hendrix/Harrington P.C., Michael focused primarily on criminal litigation.This focus has continued with the formation of Michael J. Harrington, PLLC.
Viewed as an aggressive litigator, Michael has tried over one hundred jury trials ranging from minor criminal offenses to the most complex. With over twelve years of real-life trial experience, Michael has achieved remarkable results while facing difficult legal and factual issues.
